Why we exist

Finding good software is harder than it should be. Search results are cluttered with ads, reviews are thin, and it’s difficult to tell what a tool actually does before you install it. TechShepherd fixes that: every tool gets a clear, honest page explaining what it is, who it’s for, what it costs, and how it compares.

How we choose software

Recommendations are made independently. We are not paid to feature or rank any tool. Some links are affiliate links that help fund the site, but they never influence what we recommend or the order we show it in.
